So - what are we all about? Well, we know that these days people are living longer
- quite a bit longer! That in itself can bring problems, particularly in the area
of, well, just getting around. Though levels of fitness and general health are way
ahead of what they were even fifty years ago, the aches and twinges still make themselves
known.
Within these pages you’ll find articles and information about a wide range of mobility
aids and products that help you stay mobile and active - we hope you’ll find them
helpful!
Maybe that walk down to the park seems a bit further than it used to, or those stairs
are a bit steeper. Part of the problem with getting older lies in accepting just
that - we are getting older! So if we still want to enjoy that walk in the park,
maybe an electric scooter is a good idea for getting us there. Who needs a bungalow?
Get a stair lift! And if that easy chair isn’t that easy to get up from - get a powered
chair! If you find you sleep better on a bit of an incline - get an electric bed!

park because your electric scooter has taken the strain off getting there and back
. . .We’ve tried to be as logical and objective as possible in describing on these
pages some of the aids available to mobility. And don’t forget that these aren’t
only for seniors - many much younger people have problems just getting around. To
them, and to the senior citizens of this world, this site is cheerfully dedicated.
